java error

Hi,

I can't see any java based palace clients... getting this error:

java.lang.VerifyError: (class: ch, method: a signature: (Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;)Ljava/awt/Rectangle;) Illegal use of nonvirtual function call
at instantpal.c([DashoPro-V1.0-0420])
at instantpal.start([DashoPro-V1.0-0420])
at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Anyone knowing what could be the problem?

Hi

What version browser are you using and wich Java version?

If you have a PC and install the "official" java distribution Instant Palace will stop working. Instant palace was designed for the microsoft version of Java, the one they distributed together with Internet Explorer 4.0 / 5.5. If you use the SUN official version Instant Palace will not be able to run. Especially on XP machines this is a new problem. And I have no idea how to get back a working version.



Mac OSX is incompatible whatever you do I'm afraid.
