Poll:PSP or Adobe Which is your favorite program?

I have been palacing for almost 5 years now, I have tried two formats of software for working up graphics on palace. (Adobe PS...more recently *S*) I have found PSP to be easier to use and but adobe makes better graphics. So I have to say Adobe PS is my fav but what do you prefer to use?

If you just use it for making avatars I guess whatever you can work with. For graphics, backgrounds etc. My choice will always be Photoshop only problem is most people cannot afford it. So I would say for hobby use try Paint Shop Pro. Or Uleads PhotImpact, it has some pretty cool tools.

Ulead Photoimpact:

Adobe Photoshop

JasC Paint Shop Pro

You can get trial versions and just see whatever you like best.

Adobe Photo Shop vs. others

I use Ulead PhotoImpact at home, I think it's more user friendley. Adobe I use at work because it can handle bigger files and the outcome is a better quality.
Havn't been using PSP for years but I think it's almost sim. to Ulead PI

Thats funny, I like Photo Impact to, discovered it 8 years ago when it came with a video editing system a customer used. It has some very nice photorealistic features. But just like you said for better quality I go for Photoshop. I guess we need to add another option to the poll :)

Photo Impact is pretty cool especially the defocus and aperture plugins. But photoshop is great for layering and shadow effects. Its hard to say what the real favorite is, to many options.
